What Is CLA INSiGHT Scanning?
CLA INSiGHT is a set of non-invasive nervous system scans used during visits to Radiant Chiropractic. Instead of relying only on how a patient describes their pain, the scans give Dr. Williams objective, real-time data on how the nervous system is functioning, information that’s useful whether the patient is eight weeks old or eighty years old.
Every scan is quick, painless, and requires no needles, no radiation, and no recovery time. Most patients complete a scan in under five minutes, often as part of a regular visit.
What the Scan Measures
CLA INSiGHT looks at three specific systems, each one telling a different part of the story.
Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
HRV measures the balance between the body’s stress response and its ability to recover from it. A nervous system under chronic strain often shows a narrower, less adaptable HRV pattern, even in a patient who feels fine day to day.
Surface EMG (sEMG)
Surface EMG maps muscle activity along the spine, showing where muscles are working harder than they should or holding tension that isn’t resolving on its own. It’s often the clearest early sign of a joint that isn’t moving the way it’s supposed to.
Thermography
Thermography tracks subtle temperature patterns along the spine that reflect how the autonomic nervous system, the part of the body that runs things like digestion, heart rate, and the stress response, is regulating itself.
What to Expect During Your Scan
Scans happen right in the office and are built into the visit, not scheduled as a separate appointment. Patients stand or sit still for a short series of passes along the spine while the sensors collect data. There’s no discomfort involved, and results are available immediately.
Dr. Williams reviews the results alongside a patient’s health history, posture, and movement assessment. Combined, they give a far more complete picture than symptoms alone, which means the care plan is built around what the nervous system is actually doing, not just where it hurts today.
